We believe that we have the means to not only financially support ourselves through smart monetary decisions, but that through small and simple means we can bring that opportunity to others throughout the world.

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing reliable water projects to communities in sub-Saharan Africa who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation. For ten years, they have been helping communities gain access to clean, safe water by providing training, expertise and financial support for water project construction through their staff and implementing partners.

Develop Africa provides school supplies, scholarships, solar lights (so kids can study at night), mosquito nets (to keep children safe from malaria), computer/vocational training, and other resources for children and families in Africa.

Over 70% of people in developed countries have little to no formal financial education. That number is worse for undeveloped countries. As a community Slate strives to mend this gap by creating, sharing, and encouraging members of the community to make wise choices with their money. Below is a small sample of some of those resources.
